The Ultimate Workouts for Better Sex: 5 Moves to Try Today

Sexual health and performance are important aspects of well-being for many people. However, they can also be affected by various factors such as stress, aging, medical conditions, or lifestyle choices. Fortunately, there are some exercises that can help improve sexual health and performance for both men and women. Here are some examples:

 

Kegel Exercises

These are exercises that strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which support the bladder, uterus, prostate, and rectum. They can help prevent urinary incontinence, improve blood flow to the genitals, and enhance orgasm quality and frequency. To do kegel exercises, you need to identify the muscles that you use to stop urinating. Then, you contract and relax these muscles repeatedly for a few seconds at a time. You can do this several times a day, anywhere and anytime.

 

Squats

These are exercises that work the lower body muscles, such as the glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves. They can help improve posture, balance, endurance, and power. They can also increase blood flow to the pelvic area and stimulate the production of sex hormones. To do squats, you stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your toes pointing slightly outward. Then, you lower your hips until your thighs are parallel to the floor, keeping your back straight and your chest up. You push yourself back up to the starting position and repeat.

 

Planks

A strong core is essential for maintaining stability and endurance during intimate moments. Planks are a fantastic exercise for strengthening the core muscles, including the abs, lower back, and pelvic floor. To do a plank, assume a push-up position, resting on your forearms instead of your hands. Keep your body in a straight line from head to toe, engaging your core muscles. Hold this position for as long as you can, gradually increasing the duration over time.

 

Yoga

This is a practice that combines physical poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. It can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, which can affect sexual health and performance. It can also improve flexibility, mobility, and circulation, which can enhance sexual sensations and satisfaction. To practice yoga, you can follow a video or a class that suits your level and preference. You can choose from different styles of yoga, such as hatha, vinyasa, bikram, or yin.

 

Cardiovascular Exercise

Engaging in regular cardiovascular exercises, such as jogging, swimming, or cycling, can improve overall cardiovascular health, boost stamina, and increase endurance. Increased cardiovascular fitness translates into better blood circulation, allowing for improved arousal, stronger erections (for men), and enhanced sexual satisfaction.
